Jasmine Grey

Jasmine Grey has over 20 years of experience in the field of Special Education. Having worked with individuals with Autism from early childhood through to adulthood has allowed her to implement her passion for data driven research in all areas of education. Her longstanding background in Applied Behavior Analysis has taught her to not only to assess and meet the individualized goals of learners but to also utilize often limited resources to fill gaps, strengthen growth, and foster success.

 

Aside from education, her passion also extends to volunteerism and activism within the mental health sector and various environmental issues. Ms. Grey is actively working with the homelessness in Paterson by providing meals, clothing, and outreach services for those battling addiction. She routinely hosts clothing drives and currently serves on the Board for His Helping Hands in Paterson. Ms. Grey is also very vocal in spreading awareness and educating others on environmental issues and redevelopment as well as taking part in various clean ups throughout New Jersey. Her findings on redevelopment was the driving force that also pushed her to actively get involved in local politics.

 

In addition to teaching, Ms. Grey is also a Project Manager for Alvarez Contracting. Utilizing her background and expertise, she is able to connect and build strong partnerships within the community while overseeing contracting projects from start to finish. 

 

Ms. Grey is a dedicated advocate for those in need while raising awareness and taking action towards improving the overall societal climate in which we live. Ms. Grey holds an MA in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology and graduated Magna Cum Laude from William Paterson University. Ms. Grey is also a certified Employment Specialist receiving training at The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
